The Vallejo Police Officers’ Association is pleased to announce the award of five college scholarships for 2014. After reviewing all of the scholarship applications, five students were selected as this year’s award recipients.
The scholarships are in the names of our fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice to the City of Vallejo and its citizens. We remember these officers by naming the scholarships after Officers Calvin Thacker, William Easson Jr., Jeff Azuar, and Jim Capoot. In addition, we also recognize Lieutenant Doug Clark who supported high school seniors in our community.
