Thank you for your service and good luck on your new jobs!
This month we say goodbye to two tenured employees. Officer Brett Wagoner has been a Vallejo Police officer for 8 years and worked in the Patrol Division and on the Crime Reduction Team (CRT). Brett was also a member of the SWAT Team. He takes his years of training and experience to the Napa Sheriff’s Office where he will, no doubt, be an asset to their organization.
Additionally, his sister, Alexis Wagoner, is taking her years of experience as a dispatcher to the City of Walnut Creek. Aside from her duties taking calls and dispatching police and fire assignments, Alexis was a member of the SWAT Team as a tactical dispatcher.
Their combined 11 plus years of service to the City of Vallejo will be sorely missed and difficult to replace quickly. Their family commitment to the City and the Department was felt by all. Their parents were extremely supportive and active to include providing meals for on-duty personnel throughout the year with particular attention to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We cannot thank all of the Wagoner’s enough for their contribution to the betterment of Vallejo - it will be missed. Good luck at your new agencies!
