Civilian Employee Staffing Also Plummeting

The VPOA wishes to extend our thanks and well wishes to Police Assistant Tina Encarnacion. Tina began working for VPD in 2013 and has served in a variety of assignments. She really had a passion for Vallejo and making her city a better place to live and work. She was instrumental in the art of bringing neighborhoods together and engaging with community members on how to better address crime problems. Tina was transferred out of the Community Services Section and assigned to Patrol as a police assistant due to extremely low staffing levels. She and two other police assistants were assigned to alleviate the workload. The Vallejo Neighborhood Watch Program has been stagnant since her absence with no VPD personnel to manage the program.

Thank you Tina and good luck!!!
